![]() If I remember where they're from, I'll edit them in here. I was told to put it in the E folder which. Edit3: How could I forget Pandamaru's VXAce tilesets! Hey How do you upload a custom tileset Unfortunately, the tileset is probably in the wrong size (768x768). (Digging required, also some of the links inside might repeat from the other lists) Edit2: Granny's Little Bits has some more stuff mixed in. to simply replace the single original tileset, youll need to replace the tilesheet pictures with pictures of the same name and same format, but this will of course change all maps ever done in the project. Edit1: Caitlin's Graphical World is a big mixture of stuff, with modern/Sci-Fi/Post-apocalyptic stuff included. To have more than one tileset youll need a script for VX, and then the use depends on the script. ![]() Then Joy's Futuristic Tiles - Spaceship Interior for a nice collection of edits. Im looking for links to that already exists if possible. Resource Type: Any tiles that would go into the B-E Tileset. Lunarea & Celianna's Steampunk tiles can also be used (though they're in parallax format, so some work needed) EDIT: This isnt for a whole tileset, just a small few tiles or tile edits. No commissions, just possible already existing resources. Also Check out IcyDragon's Modern/Futeristic tiles specifically, the topic also has a handy one-stop download link for the whole thing. Some stuff from Enterbrain/Tsukuru's Blog GrandmaDeb's Modern Exterior tiles (as Sci-fi often uses things that can appear modern as well) She also has quite a few links within both posts to stuff that is certainly Sci-Fi. You can also use events as a third layer - thats what many games do, especially because you need events for animated map-parts anyway. First check out both Granny's Lists - Modern and Futuristic Resources and Word of Warning, some things might have watermarks from photobucket or whatever, so you might need to use something like Gimp or Photoshop to try and fix that. (And he does not even ask for credit! What kind of true artist does that? Does this mean that all his art could be illegal and he does not want credit just to avoid responsibilities if legal action is taken against him? Or is this just me being paranoid? I don't really know., but better to avoid any risk.) No offense intended.Click to expand. This is certainly one of the more difficult things to obtain, but thankfully we have a lot of people who have helped make this easier. I also find a bit suspicious that someone appears, releases a ton of "free" art of very high quality, where part of the art looks suspiciously too close to Nintendo's art, and then disappears. I am mainly referring to the trees appearing in this tileset. I would recommend to avoid using art that is too close to Nintendo's art (at least in commercial games), because it can be considered as a derivative work of their art, which is not legal and you may get a DMCA. You can search images with google and compare to see what I mean. Get this amazing tileset full of animations for your game Features: - Jungle tilesets - Temple tilesets - 2. ![]() This guy seems very talented as a pixel artist but, am I the only one who thinks that the trees are too close to the ones of "Zelda Minish Cap"? This is especially noticeable with the trunk trees: although the shading is different, the borders and shapes seem exactly the same to me, which could mean that this is a derivative work of non-free art, and that would be illegal.
